Building Character in a Fun Way

Helping Muslim parents raise children with Good Character through fun activities to instill Quranic teachings and Good Values.

About Us

Tarbiyah Club is run by Professional Good Doers. It focuses on character development, spiritual and moral refinement of Muslim children and teens. We provide a nurturing and fun environment where children can learn and grow while participating in various activities, workshops, and events for them and their families.

Unique Approach to Character Building

We help students memorize the English meaning of selected Quranic verses so they can quote to themselves and others when they encounter difficult situations in life.

Quran in English
Good Values

Members will be involved in fun halaqas (discussions) which include readings from the book Dictionary of Good Values to learn value like honesty, kindness, and responsibility

Fun Leaning Games

Learning Goals

  • Allah gave us the Quran to show us the best way to live now in this life and the hereafter. (17:9)

  • It is okay and important to memorize and recite the Quran in English your native tongue.

  • Learning Good Values can help bring “Goodness” to your life and help you avoid “Badness”.

  • Recite selected ayahs of the Quran in English since English is their primary language.

  • Recall them in situations that they need them for guidance or need to quote them to help guide others

  • Know how to do “Good Deeds” (not only religious deeds) so they can bring benefit to themselves, others and their environment. Also, to know what Bad Deeds are and how to avoid them.

  • Do Good Deeds (religious and regular) on a consistent basis in order to gain Good Character.

We want them to understand that:

We want them to learn how to do the following:

Here's what our parents say about our approach to building character.

”I helped Brother Mustaqiim organize and facilitate a youth group at ICI in 2008. The fun learning games and activities that we involved the children in were very engaging and effective. My children still remember Tarbiyah Club and the fun time they had."

- Sawsan Abublan, Parent

“Years ago when my kids were young my family was a part of Tarbiyah Club at ICI. This club left a lasting impression on my children, good memories of good times learning about their deen in the Masjid with their family and friends.”

- Nordean Nouiouat, ICI Community Organizer
